Halong Bay is formed by Cat Ba island to the South, Ngoc Hung and Van Canh islands to the East and the Vietnamese coastline to the North and West.
HαΊ‘ Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2, including 1,960–2,000 islets, most of which are limestone with various shapes, sizes, and in different green and amazing colors rise above the sea level. There are some commonly visited caves as Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace) cave, Dau Go (Wood Tip) grotto, Sung Sot (Surprise) cave and Trinh Nu (Virgin) grotto.
Moreover, the most favorite activity in Halong Bay is taking a cruise to travel around the Bay and join some another interesting activities as swimming, kayaking, hiking, etc.
